Description
Michael Kors first ever smart watch, the MK Access. In this project Zerofractal was commissioned to create an Augmented Reality iPad App where a user can test out how the watch would look on their wrist. The user would be able to try the different watch faces and wrist bands. We developed the app in Unity while creating assets in Autodesk Maya.
Responsibilities
- Manage the asset creation as well as the development of the full project.
- Program the app in C# in Unity.
- Prepare the app for iOS enterprise distribution.
Challenges
- Programing a full interactive app in C# in Unity. In the past several programmers were involved.
- Balance between quality and performance, we wanted to add as much detail as possible to the watch so that users could see it on their wrist.
- Distributing it in countries where Apple Enterprise distribution was not active.
Results
• App was distributed in Duty free shops and malls in Latin America.
Michael Kors was a M4 Agency client which was a client of Zerofractal.
