Ford Mustang GT 350 1966 Render

What I Wanted To Do

I wanted to take an existing 3d model and utilize Modo’s render capabilities to do a render of this classic car.

What I Did

I went to Google 3d Warehouse and found a model of a beautiful Ford Mustang GT 350 form 1966 (AKA Elenor).

The model had really bad geometry and overall topology, so I went ahead and cleaned it up in Maya.

Once the model was to my liking in terms of topology and geometry I exported it to Modo and started doing the materials, lighting and overall scene for render.

The Result

I really enjoyed the process. Modo has a very intuitive rendering engine and gives great results.
